18. Payment Terms

All fees are payable in full at the time of arrival/departure. We do not accept payment by cheque.

We charge a daily rate and are applicable from the day of arrival to departure inclusive. Customers who collect their pets early may still be charged for the full occupancy. Any animal not collected by 6pm will be subject to a charge of one extra day’s boarding.

We reserve the right to charge 50% of the cost, to be paid in full on arrival, when boarding a pet for a period of more than 14 days.
We reserve the right to charge the full cost of boarding for any cancellations made within 48 hours of drop off.

Boarding is entirely at the owners’ risk. Pets from the same family can kennel share. However, should the need arise to separate them in the interest of their own safety then there will be a charge for the extra accommodation, and any vet’s fees arising as a result of injury due to the animals sharing, will be the responsibility of the owner.

We reserve the right to revise our prices when necessary and we do not give refunds.

19. Inoculations/Medication.

All cats and dogs will only be accepted for boarding if in good health and must be fully inoculated; proof of vaccinations may be requested. New vaccination courses must be completed 14 days prior to boarding.

We will not be responsible for dogs contracting kennel cough. Dogs must be vaccinated against this prior to boarding.

All pets must have had flea/worm treatment for at least 2 months before boarding. If your pet is found to have fleas/worms, we will seek the relevant treatment from a vet and this will be added to the cost of your boarding fee in addition to mileage charged at 45p per mile in order to seek treatment.

Any relevant medication will be administered as instructed by the owners, however, we are unable to accept any liability for incorrect administration or adverse reaction.

20. Insurance

We reserve the right to seek the services of a vet on your behalf at any time deemed necessary during your pets stay. Veterinary attention either during or after your pets’ stay is at the owners’ expense if it falls outside our insurance terms & conditions, a copy of which is available on request.

Your pet(s) will not be insured for any pre-existing conditions, which must be disclosed on the day of arrival.

For further details of our insurance cover please speak to a member of our staff.
